Sunday School

Our Sunday School Department offers dynamic classes for every age student. Our children's ministry includes interesting, yet age appropriate classes for kids ages 4-11;

we offer Junior High and High School classes for youth

ages 12-18, and finally options for adults include Adult 1 (ages 65+), Adult 2, Flashpoint, and Men Makers (men only). It is our desire for each member of the family to enjoy age specific classes that will help them learn and apply the Bible to their day to day life--whether the student is five or 95! Sunday School is held weekly at 9:30 am.

We regularly host men's fellowship opportunities such as cook-outs and fish fries, we have a Sunday School class specifically for our men, and we host a Men Makers course on the Second Sunday of each month.

Families are a priority at First Church, and this is evident by our dynamic Children's Ministry supported by our Sunday School Department and Kidz Club. At 7:00 pm on Wednesday nights in our Children's Chapel at our Family Life Center we provide a fun, engaging environment for our kids ages 4-11 to interact with one another and most importantly to develop their personal walks with God. Kidz Club generally begins with classroom time for various our various age groups and cumulates with an engaging service, but parties, field trips to the splash pad, and candy rains are not unheard of. It's always fun at Kidz Club!

Connect Groups

At First Church we believe that fellowship is a pivotal part of the Kingdom. The Bible teaches us that the First Century church gathered house to house breaking bread, developing relationships with fellow believers, and sharing the Gospel. Like the disciples before us, we believe in the power of unity through relationship and fellowship, and at First Church we work toward that goal through Connect Groups.

Connect Groups are essentially small, interest based groups that meet weekly or bi-weekly for an eight week semester in the Spring and in the Fall. Connect Groups change from season to season, but we will consistently include options that are of interest to their members be they activities, cuisine, or expansion. Simply put, each Connect Group offers something to do, something to eat, or something to learn while enjoying fellowshipping with other believers.

The Spring Semester of Connect Groups began the week of March 1st and lasts through the week of May 3rd. Our upcoming Connect Groups were showcased at our Connect Group Fair on Sunday, February 23rd. We invite you to contact our Church Office if you would still like to join a Connect Group. Get connected at First Church!

dream team

Our mission at First Church is to share the Gospel with our friends, family, and community. We accomplish our outreach goals through neighborhood blitzes, block parties, and serve days. We also make an effort to promote our special events by inviting our neighbors to services such as Friend Day, First Responders Appreciation Breakfast, Veterans Day, and our Memorial Day Family Picnic, among others.

The Dream Team is the volunteer core of First Church. Our outreach efforts, as well the support provided during our special services and events, are channeled through our amazing, service-minded team of volunteers. The Dream Team operates to serve our community by embodying the nature of Christ, which is to put others first in all things.
